CHH unveils new Reward and Recognition Program

CHH unveils new Reward and Recognition Program

At CHH, our people have always been our greatest asset. From engineers and warehouse operatives to the leaders driving our strategy, it is the talent and dedication of our team that make us the successful business we are today. In a move to celebrate their commitment we are proud to announce the launch of our new Reward and Recognition Programme. The structured, values-driven platform is designed to recognise the hard work of all of our team members and to shine a light on those colleagues going above and beyond.

We are proud of the culture we have built at CHH. Many of our colleagues have been with us for decades, and that loyalty speaks volumes. As we grow, we want to continue fostering an environment where people feel genuinely valued, not just as employees, but as individuals who make a real difference.

We also know that attracting and retaining the best talent has never been more competitive. Candidates today are looking for more than a salary. They want to work somewhere that recognises their contribution, invests in their development, and gives them a sense of purpose. This programme is part of how we make CHH an employer of choice, not just in what we say, but in what we do.

Recognition levels

Our new Reward and Recognition Programme operates across three tiers, each designed to recognise different types of contribution.

Day-to-Day Recognition. This level is about shining a light on the regular, everyday moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. Anyone, at any level of the business, can give a colleague a shout-out. Managers can also award points on a daily basis in recognition of outstanding effort or attitude. Those points accumulate over time and can be redeemed through our digital platform for products, vouchers, experiences, or charitable donations. Small gestures, consistently made, build a culture of recognition.

Monthly Values Awards – Once a month, candidates will be brought to the Senior Leadership Team who will come together to select five individuals, one for each of our CHH values, to receive a monthly value award. These awards are for going above and beyond: doing something exceptional, stepping outside their usual role and demonstrating our values in a way that has made a real difference to colleagues, customers and other stakeholders.

Annual Owner’s Award – Once a year, CHH owners Paul and Cory will personally nominate five individuals who they feel have truly embodied the spirit of the business and the CHH values over the last 12 months. This is the highest level of recognition in the programme and reflects the outstanding contributions of those who consistently go the extra mile and make us all proud to be part of this business.

The digital platform is accessible to all colleagues. They can log on, give shout-outs, track their points, and browse the rewards catalogue, which includes everything from company merchandise and lifestyle products to experiences and charitable donations.

Values-led

We have designed the programme to reward behaviour as much as performance. Everything about this programme is built around the five values that define who we are as a business:

Agile – We are responsive, proactive, and flexible. In a fast-moving industry, that agility is what keeps us ahead and keeps our customers coming back.

Driven – We are committed to creating a better, more connected and sustainable world. That ambition runs through every project, customer and colleague interaction.

People Focused – CHH is committed to investing in our team and building a culture where everyone is empowered to fulfil their potential.

Responsible – We have a duty of care to all stakeholders. We seek to do right by our people, our customers, our community, and our planet.

Trusted – A vast network of suppliers and customers rely on us. Our reputation is built on our consistency, integrity, and the quality of work.

Each category in our monthly and annual awards is named after one of these values. The aim is simple: to keep our values at the forefront of everyone’s minds and to make sure that living them is recognised and celebrated across the business, from the shop floor to the senior leadership team.

Employer of choice

Businesses that invest in recognition outperform those that do not. A strong recognition culture is one of the most effective tools we have for retaining our best people and attracting new ones who share our values. Beyond the bottom line, this is about the kind of business we want to be. We have always had a family feel at CHH, and this programme is about protecting and formalising that as we grow.

The new programme also reinforces our sustainability ambitions. Recognising the right behaviours means embedding them into our culture for the long term. When people see that living our values is noticed and rewarded, those values stop being something written in a document and start being something that shapes how we work, collaborate, and lead every day.
