CHH is a leading provider of bespoke cable assemblies, integrated cabinets and managed services that support engineers in the field. It operates in several diverse vertical markets, delivering a range of connectivity solutions and consumables that help drive smart city transformation, innovation and productivity.
The business is on an impressive growth trajectory, driven
by strong leadership and a robust growth strategy. In March 2022, CHH changed ownership and is now led by Chief Executive Officer Paul Turner and Chief Operating Officer Cory McFarlane. The pair bring with them a wealth of experience and are passionate about helping CHH explore new market opportunities.
Paul is no stranger to CHH, having initially joined in 2001. He spent five years in the business working his way up to becoming Joint Managing Director. He left in 2006 to spend the next stage of his career in the corporate world as Senior Vice President of sales at Belden, a global manufacturer of networking, connectivity, and cable products.
Prior to the acquisition, Cory was Managing Director of his own company, of which, CHH had a stake in. Cory became quite familiar with the workings of CHH and its core businesses. Cory then went on to be Managing Director at IEWC EMEA, a global supplier of electrical wire and cable, wire management and broadcast and AV products. As co-owner of CHH, he now brings 25 years’ experience directing and streamlining business activities with a focus on improving corporate revenue and profit margins.
Paul & Cory have implemented a comprehensive realignment of the leadership team of CHH that is already helping the business exploit a range of new opportunities. This focuses on expanding CHH’s Managed Services business and developing further Design, Engineering & Manufacturing capabilities in line with the demands of a growing customer base.
Paul provides strategic, financial, and operational leadership throughout the business. He is spearheading our ambitious growth strategy, which will see CHH enter new markets and expand our presence in existing sectors. With a head for innovation and a career that has helped him gain more than 35 years’ experience in electronics, Paul has earned a reputation for professionalism, authenticity, and people development throughout the industry.
Our self-named ‘Mr Efficiency’, Cory is responsible for delivering operational, managerial, and administrative processes and procedures across the business. He is committed to finding new ways to make our organisation more efficient, productive, and successful, bringing us closer to customers and making us an essential part of the overall telecoms value chain.
Chris has been a part of the CHH family for over 20 years. Chris oversees our finances providing solid financial and performance data. He has become a leader of the accounting function for both divisions. Aside from his stellar financial acumen, Chris brings fun and laughter to the office. You can always find him giving out sweets and treats to everyone while listening to Morrissey.
Laura simply gets the job done. As Managing Director of our Managed Services team, she is a born problem solver and avid trouble-shooter, committed to helping our customers find fast solutions to all their in-field challenges. Laura is responsible for a growing team at CHH which plays a critical role in ensuring that all the connectivity solutions the country enjoys today, continue to work behind the scenes.
As the Managing Director of the Design, Engineering & Manufacturing division, Liz keeps our teams motivated, busy, and passionate about what they do. She very much represents what can happen when old, successful traditions meet new innovations, since she has been part of our business for more than 14 years and remains as passionate about our world than she has ever been.
As commercial director, Heather will focus on our marketing efforts and growing relationships with strategic partnerships. Heather’s previous experience in engineering, sales and marketing at Bosch, Ingersoll Rand and most recently MacLean Fogg will help both divisions deliver their goals and plans.
