Launch of new website helps CHH showcase end-to-end capabilities

When we set out to build CHH’s new website, we had a clear ambition: to create a platform that genuinely reflects where our business is today. Over the last couple of years we have transformed from a product and services provider into a complete end-to-end solutions business, and that journey was not reflected in our previous website. The new site brings together our full range of capabilities across Product Solutions, Managed Services, Technical Services and Life Cycle Solutions within one coherent offer, and gives customers, prospects and partners a clear picture of what working with CHH really looks like.

The CHH 360 graphic takes centre stage on the new site. It is the framework that brings our full capability together. It reflects the way we now work as a trusted partner managing every stage of the customer journey, from initial engineering and product supply through to deployment, asset tracking and end-of-life recovery. Rather than treating these as separate functions, we connect them into one continuous cycle. That joined-up approach means we can anticipate operational challenges before they arise, remove friction between handovers and give customers consistent visibility across their operations. Whatever the sector, whatever the challenge, our job is to deliver excellence at every step.

Our new website brings to life our core capabilities, highlighting how CHH is the go to for connectivity excellence:

Products: the Conex range

The new website gives proper visibility to our growing product portfolio. Under the Conex brand, we have developed CHH’s own range of installation and circuit protection products spanning smart metering, EV charging, solar energy and smart city development, including cables, switches, connectors, enclosures and circuit breakers. Alongside Conex, the site showcases our full range of gas and electric consumables, tools, uniform and PPE, making it straightforward for engineers and procurement teams to see what is available and how to order.

At your service

Our Managed Services capability is built around one goal: keeping engineers equipped and efficient. From sourcing and procurement through to materials management, warehousing and final mile distribution, we take responsibility for the logistics so our customers can focus on delivery. We hold over £3 million of inventory across more than 85,000 square feet of specialist storage at our Birmingham and Chesterfield sites, and we are proud of our 99.5% on-time, in-full delivery rate. The website now gives this capability the prominence it deserves, making it straightforward for new customers to understand what we offer and how to get started.

Engineering expertise

Operating from a 20,000 square foot facility in the West Midlands, our Technical Services team designs and builds cable and sub-assemblies, cabinet integrations and bespoke connectivity solutions across sectors including nuclear, rail, renewables, smart cities and beyond. This is build-to-print and bespoke design capability delivered by engineers with decades of combined experience.

End-to-end offer

This is where CHH is genuinely disrupting the market. Our Life Cycle Solutions capability covers asset tracking, maintenance, repair and retrofit, reverse logistics and returns handling, as well as responsible waste management. The principle is straightforward: keep resources in the value chain for as long as possible. In sectors like smart metering, devices are routinely decommissioned and scrapped before the end of their usable life. We have built the infrastructure and the technology to change that, recovering working assets, returning them to the value chain and providing customers with full visibility throughout.

Navigate the network

Our Final Mile distribution service ensures that field engineers get the right consumables, tools, uniform and PPE next day, delivering to convenient nationwide collection points with pick-ups guaranteed within 15 minutes of their location. It is a complete service covering procurement, supply, delivery and returns, all managed through our online portal and engineer app.

One of the most significant additions to the new site is the interactive map, and it deserves particular attention. Type in a postcode and you will immediately see the nearest pick-up and drop-off locations from our national PUDO network. We now have more than 1000 PUDOs operating across over 600 sites nationwide, and that network is growing all the time.

Building this infrastructure has been a major focus, and we are now ready to scale it beyond our existing customer base. What sets our PUDO network apart from competitors is its flexibility. Where others offer fixed locker solutions that are difficult to move and slow to expand, ours can be relocated and scaled quickly and easily to meet changing operational needs.  There are also no size limitations to the products that can be delivered.

Any sector that needs to distribute products efficiently across the country and recover assets through a structured returns loop stands to benefit. EV charging infrastructure is an obvious fit, where engineers need rapid access to installation materials and recovered units need to flow back through a controlled network. Solar and heat source installations present similar opportunities. For telecoms and utilities customers, the combination of final mile distribution and life cycle returns management addresses operational challenges that have historically been costly and poorly managed. The interactive map makes that capability tangible and immediate for any business exploring what CHH can offer.

Making sustainable choices

At CHH sustainability sits at the heart of our business strategy and as a result it now has its own section on our website. You can see for yourself the progress we are making in understanding and managing our impacts.

As part of developing a robust sustainability strategy, we have completed a verified greenhouse gas emissions baseline across Scopes 1, 2 and 3, giving us a clear and accurate picture of where our impacts arise and a solid foundation for setting meaningful reduction targets. We have carried out a double materiality assessment to identify and prioritise the ESG issues that matter most to our business and our stakeholders. To ensure we maintain momentum we recently established a Sustainability Working Group, bringing together colleagues from across the business to translate strategy into day-to-day delivery.

Our 2025 Sustainability Report sets out all of this in detail, alongside our action plan and the roadmap charting our journey towards Net Zero by 2050. The website links through to the full report for those who want the detail, and the sustainability section itself highlights the progress already made across environmental performance, governance, social impact and our life cycle solutions model.

Scale up

The new website helps us demonstrate where CHH is now and where we are heading. The infrastructure is in place, the capabilities are proven, and the platform is ready to help us reach new customers and new sectors.
