CHH appoints Operations Director to support business expansion

Matt Barker has been appointed CHH’s Operations Director. After three months providing consultancy support, Matt will help guide CHH on the next stage of our growth journey, supporting new business ventures and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

CHH continues to go from strength to strength off the back of a growing service portfolio and expansion into new markets. Enhancing our smart connectivity offer is a strategic priority and Matt has been instrumental in helping us develop our Managed Services and Life Cycle Solutions capabilities.

Matt has more than 15 years’ experience in logistics and operational management. He has led major projects in sectors aligned with CHH’s core markets, having held senior positions for the likes of utilities business UW Home Services and smart meter installer SMS Plc. Having started his career as a computer systems engineer, Matt is also well positioned to develop software platforms that support advanced logistics.

Matt joins a dedicated team of people committed to taking our business to the next stage of growth. Bringing in new talent will help us continue developing our end-to-end service offer and responding to changing customer demands.

Matt said: “I am very excited about taking on this role. CHH is an ambitious business with a track record for innovation. I will help evolve those turnkey solutions, whilst improving performance across all areas of our operations.”

For the coming months, Matt will be focused on driving efficiencies in areas such as logistics and warehouse optimisation.

CHH’s CEO Paul Turner commented: “It’s great to have Matt on board. His skillset is aligned with where we are taking the business, and we are all very excited about what 2025 has in store. This will be a game changing year for CHH as we expand our horizons. Our people are at the heart of that, and Matt will add real value to a fantastic team ready to embrace our next stage of growth.”
