CHH helps motocross star reach new heights

We are proud to be supporting 14 year old motocross star Jack to realise his dream. Son of Laura Leese, CHH’s Managed Services Managing Director, the young prodigy is taking the sport by storm. With the help of CHH, Jack now has a bike that enables him to compete at the national level against the best riders in the country.

Ever since Jack took the saddle as a young boy, he has had one passion – to become a motocross professional. CHH has sponsored him for a number of years and recently helped Jack move to the next level with his new Yamaha bike.

Jack is one of the youngest competitors to be riding a 125cc bike. At 5 ft 10” the fearless youngster is now going head to head with riders of all ages, many of whom are on 250cc machines. He is competing across a range of competitions including Peterborough MX Club, Bridgestone British Masters and Nora British Cup.

His high placements have attracted attention across the sport and Jack was honoured to be selected for the highly competitive Yamaha Blu Cru. The program gives him access to exclusive ride days and invaluable training and nutritional advice. Jack’s focus for the remainder of the season is to continue working on his fitness and using the expert guidance to help him move up the rankings.

Jack’s family travel up and down the country in their caravan to get him to the starting line and in a single season they will venture from Cornwall to Newcastle. It seems that nothing will deter him from fulfilling his dream. In 2023 at the age of 12 Jack broke his collar bone in a riding accident but within five weeks was back behind the handlebars more determined than ever.

“Nothing will deter him – he lives for riding”, says Laura. “CHH has been there all the way lending their support and we are hugely grateful. Jack now has a bike that enables him to compete with the best riders and he’s making the most of the opportunity.”

Jack said: “Thank you to Paul and Cory and all at CHH who have believed in me and helped me in a massive way. My aim is to finish in the top 6 at national level and make you all proud”

For CHH, supporting Jack is testament to a family-focused culture which helps people fulfil their potential. “We are delighted to be able to help Jack reach his goals and we have been privileged to be part of his journey”, says CHH CEO Paul Turner. “It is very exciting to think about what the future might hold, and we’ll be here cheering him on every step of the way.”
