At CHH we are committed to expanding our customer base and scaling up the application of our smart connectivity solutions. Developing talent is key to helping us meet our goals and we have now boosted our capabilities with the recruitment of sales apprentice Aman Takhar. Joining the team as Business Development Executive, Aman is already demonstrating the skills and passion needed to help us move to the next stage of growth.
CHH’s success is testament to a skilled and dedicated workforce. Our people are our greatest asset, and we are always looking for ways to nurture talent. Apprenticeships provide an ideal opportunity to attract bright and aspirational recruits who share our vision and values. We have seen for ourselves what that investment brings to the business by giving employees the knowledge and experience they need to fulfil their potential. We have now recruited our first sales apprentice to help us extend our reach and explore new markets and opportunities.
Aman Takhar joined CHH in March and is already making great progress in her Sales Executive Level 4 apprenticeship. Aman graduated from Coventry University with a degree in Accounting and Finance and has experience as a Customer Service Advisor. She is keen to learn on the job and CHH’s apprenticeship provider Pareto is taking her through a comprehensive programme that will provide her with the full breadth of skills needed to play a central role in CHH’s dynamic sales team.
As a business we are on an impressive growth trajectory, and we need the right calibre of people to continue competing in a fast paced and exciting global market. We have already seen the value of employing apprentices across other departments and Aman is demonstrating the value this type of talent development will bring to CHH’s sales function.
The apprenticeship programme will run until May 2025, providing Aman with the toolkit of skills she needs to help drive the business forward. She spends time each week with her Perato coach developing her knowledge and skills which she is then able to apply in the workplace.
Over the last few weeks Aman has been busy getting to know our business, shadowing colleagues to gain insight into how we design and manufacture our products. She has also attended industry events and customer meetings to start building relationships and learn the art of networking.
Aman said: “It has been really exciting learning more about what CHH does and starting to develop relationships with new and prospective customers. It’s a fast growing ambitious company and I really want to help drive it forward. The people here are amazing, and it is the type of business that shares my passion and desire to succeed.”
The sales department is set for further growth as CHH continues to extend its reach and we will be dependent on talented and enthusiastic people like Aman to help us meet our goals.
CHH’s Head of Sales and Business Development, Nick Turley, commented: “Aman has now passed her probation period and has already become a valuable member of the team. Going down the apprenticeship route allows her to gain a recognised qualification and see clear career progression within a dynamic business. For CHH, it helps us attract the best talent and provides a framework to help people excel. Aman has already familiarised herself with business activities and the sales process and I’m excited to see how she applies her learning in the coming months.”
As part of our ongoing investment programme, CHH is exploring further apprenticeship opportunities. That academic acumen, focused training and real world experience within the business is an ideal combination for an ambitious company like ours. Watch this space.
