Simon Blagden CBE to be part of the CHH growth strategy

We are delighted to announce that Simon Blagden CBE is to work closely with the CHH team, advising on strategic account development and new market penetration as part of its ambitious 3 year growth plan. This complements Comtec Group International’s recent share acquisition in CHH. Tim Hughes, CHH MD, said “Simon has a unique strategic network together with a global market knowledge so the opportunity to work with him fills us with excitement and a great sense of pride. Simon’s Profile

Simon Blagden is non-executive Chairman of Fujitsu UK.  He has 25 years business experience in the IT and Telecoms industry, initially at GEC where he was an International Commercial Manager.  In 1991, he joined Quante AG as UK Managing Director and then joined the Main Board in 1995 as CEO of International Operations. In 2000 he joined Spescom in Johannesburg to head up its international telecoms and IT business. In 2005, he was appointed as Non Executive Chairman of Fujitsu UK and is a member of Fujitsu UK’s leadership team. Simon was appointed MBE in 1997 for services to export and was appointed CBE in 2016 for services to the economy.

His other appointments are;-

  • Member of the Government’s Apprenticeship Delivery Board
  • Member of the expert panel advising Government on Technical and Professional Education
  • Industry Chairman of the Parliamentary Internet, Communications and Technology Group (an All-Party Parliamentary Group)
  • Chairman of HRH The Duke of York’s charity, The Duke of York’s Community Initiative
