CHH life cycle solutions: smarter asset tracking for the metering industry

When an engineer removes a meter from the wall and replaces it with a new one, the old asset still belongs to someone and still has value. In the smart metering industry, regulation requires that asset owners are notified within 30 days and given the opportunity to arrange a return. Getting that process right is essential. Getting it wrong costs time, money and resources that nobody can afford to waste. At CHH, our Life Cycle Solutions capability has been built to solve the practical challenges that surround asset recovery, and to go further than anyone else in the market by giving customers genuine visibility and control over their assets from the moment they leave the wall.

The state of Midlands business: pressure, pragmatism and standing out from the crowd by Russell Parr, Chief Commercial Officer, CHH

I was recently invited by Midlands Insider editor Kurt Jacobs to take part in a round table discussion with a group of senior directors and business owners, hosted by Alvarez & Marsal. The conversation was frank, wide ranging and inciteful. What struck me most was not the diversity of the industries represented, but how much common ground there was. CHH 360 – The end-to-end offer for smart connectivity solutions

At CHH we are at a pivotal point in our growth journey. 2025 marked the point at which our evolution into a complete solutions provider became fully operational, bringing together product solutions, technical services, managed services and lifecycle solutions into one structured model: CHH 360. This is our full turnkey offer. It reflects a deliberate shift in how we support customers, taking responsibility across the entire lifecycle from design and supply through to deployment, tracking and recovery. That integration strengthened our position across smart metering, EV, telecoms and solar, and helped secure significant new contracts by demonstrating clear operational accountability and lifecycle oversight.

A day in the life – Ripon Miah, Lead Driver

As CHH’s final mile operation has grown, so too has the team behind it. What started as an evolution of our end-to-end offer has quickly developed into a key part of the business, supporting a growing network of pick up and drop off locations and helping CHH build its presence in a changing market. Behind that progress are the people keeping everything moving day in, day out.

A pivotal point for CHH: resetting the business and building momentum for the years ahead

The past year marked a defining period for our business. It was the point at which we made a conscious and deliberate decision to change how we operate, how we serve customers and how we position ourselves in the market. After taking time to reflect on customer needs, market dynamics and our long term direction, we reframed our operating model to move decisively away from product support and towards being a true end to end solutions provider.
